James Fenner was a speaker and hosted a panel at the 2022 UKAA annual BTR conference. In the increasingly competitive market of build to rent in the UK, brand is a critical tool to give businesses a competitive edge. For many businesses, the brand has taken a back seat with the product itself being front and centre.
We talked through how brand needs to be considered a key business asset, as when being managed correctly can make a positive impact to your business. We covered off how strong brands set business apart, such as: create loyal customers; impact ESG; improve employee satisfaction and productivity; build trust; allow for mistakes; charge more; and, increase the value of businesses.
We then hosted a panel with: Gavin Chetty from Way of Life; Susie Moore, the ex head of brand at O2; and Karl Kacher from Mind Folio.
