Forging a New Force in Cycling
Silk Road masterminded the brand for this ambitious initiative. This meant working with all 11 pro-cycling teams to ensure they pedal in tandem and create something that works for everyone. Since the inception we’ve effectively been Velon’s out-of-house marketing department. We are constantly exploring new ways to grow the business through engaging fans, the media and the wider business community.
Velon has worked with Silk Road since our inception in 2014. During this period they have gone from being a brand agency to an effective in–house marketing department for the company. Their proactive approach, offering not just a response to a brief but strategic advice, has been ideal for our business. We use them as a sounding board for new ideas, take new ideas from them and work as partners rather than client and agency. This brings so much more value to us as a business and generates better creative work all round. Silk Road have always delivered for us, with deadlines met, budgets respected and work produced that always meets and often exceeds expectations.
The work since creating the brand, we’ve produced a comprehensive suite of marketing applications, encompassing launch films, on-screen graphics, race specific branding, business-to-business support material, cycling fan initiatives, race events and even sonic branding.
